The Texas House Committee on Public Health is considering House Bill 921, which aims to improve necessary oversight of animal shelters and increase transparency, so the public can better understand the outcomes for animals at those facilities. The bill would require shelters to keep records of all animals who enter their facility and to share the records on their websites.
