Frankfort Residents: Support TNR!

This action is ONLY for residents of Frankfort, KY

KY_FrankfortTNR.jpgUpdate: Great new Frankfort, KY! The Frankfort Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to approve a 5-year Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) pilot program in the city. With this, Frankfort joins the hundreds of other communities that have embraced TNR. We are confident that Frankfort's citizens, officials, and cats will benefit from a citywide TNR program. Thanks to everyone who contacted their local officials and spoke up on behalf of the cats and TNR.

Original: The Frankfort Board of Commissioners is considering a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) ordinance that would protect cats and effectively address the community cat population. The council is already hearing from those who oppose TNR programs, so it’s essential that residents like you voice your support for TNR, the only humane and effective approach to community cats. This TNR ordinance will save cats’ lives in Frankfort, unlike outdated catch and kill policies that are cruel and ineffective.  You can make a difference for the cats and your community.

Contact the city council and ask them to do what is best for the cats and the community.
