Sign the Petition—Ask The Washington Post to Set the Record Straight on TNR!

washingtonpostmagazine_enews.jpg

This past weekend the Washington Post Magazine published a story riddled with errors about TNR. It dismisses our national movement for humane policies and distorts the true landscape of TNR. It also misrepresents our values as a society. We know that the majority of Americans want to protect cats’ lives.

Add your name! Ask The Washington Post to publish an op-ed by Alley Cat Allies to set the record straight.

Talking Up TNR at a Veterinary Conference

Veterinarian Survey

We presented at the North American Veterinary Community Conference in Orlando, Fla. last month, one of the largest veterinary conferences with more than 16,000 attendees, to educate veterinary professionals about how they can support Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). Veterinarian Dr. Jeff Newman and Alley Cat Allies Community Outreach Manager Anne Marie Vastano hosted a session on the benefits of TNR—the first-ever session on TNR in the conference’s history. The response was positive and encouraging!

Ask veterinary professionals you know to show their support for TNR.

Adoptable Cats: Meet Mario and Francis!

mario-francis.jpg

Four-year-old siblings Mario and Francis have already decided that they’re each other’s valentines. Spunky, outgoing Mario has a white chest and paws that would make a tuxedo cat jealous. Green-eyed Francis is a little shy but has a heart of gold. These beauties have spent their whole lives together and want to stay together if possible!

Say “Be Mine” to Mario and Francis! Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the gift of a loving home.

enews_kanawha_video.jpg

Our Future Five: Shelter Partners to Save Cats’ Lives program is off to great start—follow each shelter’s progress through posted videos, photos, and milestones. This month we hosted two TNR workshops with the Stanislaus Animal Services Agency in California. Similar workshops are planned for all the Future Five partners.
