As an advocate for cats and kittens, you’ve likely heard about one of the cruelest, most inhumane procedures that is still legal in states across the country: declawing, or the amputation of some of a cat’s most sensitive—and needed—limbs.
Currently only two states and just over a dozen major cities in the U.S. have banned cat declawing. We can’t stop until there is a complete ban on declawing in our nation and worldwide.
My colleagues and I are working with organizations, veterinarians, shelters, and people like you in communities all across the country who care about cats and want to stop declawing once and for all. We’ll need your help to make sure our lifesaving work continues.
