At almost two years old, this adorable orange-and-white guy is playful, curious, loveable, and looking for a forever home. He can’t wait to curl up with you and your other cats on the bed or sofa. Move over, Mr. President—the animals were the big winners in Miami-Dade County, Florida, this Election Day. Alley Cat Allies encouraged our local supporters to vote for the Pets’ Trust ballot measure to expand spay/neuter access and support TNR. We’re pleased to report that nearly two-thirds of the county voted in favor of a slight property tax increase to fund two new spay/neuter clinics and ensure that everyone has access to low-cost veterinary services. Next, the County Commissioners will vote on the measure, so stay tuned on what you can do to help. Thank you to everyone who voted to spend their tax dollars on spaying and neutering instead of killing in shelters.
