Alley Cat Allies' Nationwide Spay Days 2013

Nationwide Spay Days 2013
Alley Cat Allies is sponsoring special Spay-A-Thons at three spay/neuter clinics this month aimed at curbing “kitten season” for feral cats. We’re partnering with local organizations in Nevada, Florida, and Maryland to highlight the need for available, affordable spay/neuter services and educate people about what they can do to build safe communities for cats. Our Las Vegas clinic impacted the lives of more than 240 cats!

Adoptable Cats: Meet Donnie & Marie!

Adoptable Cats: Donnie and Marie
She’s a little bit country and he’s a little bit rock and roll—like their famous namesakes, these adorable 3-year-old felines are the coolest duo you’ll meet! The more social of the two, Donnie is a friendly and charming guy who loves to show off his handsome tabby coat. And when he’s not entertaining one of his many admirers, he’s always ready for playtime with you. More modest and laidback, Marie enjoys the company of her human counterparts or curling up for a quick snooze on a comfy bed. This beautiful and sweet girl will have you singing her praises in no time. Donnie and Marie are looking to headline their next show, and forever home, together—adopt them today!

Partnering to Help Improve the Lives of Alexandria, Virginia's Cats

Trap-Neuter-Return in Alexandria, VA
Alley Cat Allies is proud of our partnership with the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, which recently adopted a pro-TNR policy for feral cats. The program is improving the lives of cats and empowering individuals to make Alexandria a more humane place to live through workshops, spay/neuter clinics, community outreach, and lending humane traps. This past weekend, Alley Cat Allies staff helped trap 34 cats in two locations to participate in one of their free and low-cost spay/neuter clinics. We love being a part of change for cats in our own backyard: Kudos to AWLA for making Alexandria a safe place for outdoor cats!
