344x361MDSpayNeuter.jpgThis action is ONLY for residents of Maryland

Update: February 16, 2012

Thank you for taking action on this bill. It has now passed the Maryland House and moves to the Maryland Senate. Keep watching this page for the next opportunity to speak up on behalf of cats for this bill.

Update: February 10, 2021

The Maryland House of Delegates is now considering HB 146, a bill to extend the successful Maryland Spay and Neuter Grants Program that has already reached more than 60,000 cats and dogs, including community cats who live outdoors.

Your action is critical. The program is currently set to expire in 2022, but this bill would extend the spay and neuter fund beyond next year so it can help thousands more cats. Spaying and neutering is good for cats and good for the community.

Original Message:

The Maryland House Environment and Transportation Committee is considering MD HB 146, a bill to renew and expand the successful Maryland Spay and Neuter Grants Program.

We can help more cats in Maryland if we act now. Please ask your state delegate to vote YES on HB 146.
